The powerhouse of Eczacibasi Vitra ISTANBUL have done it again, they have recorded their third straight-set-win in Pool A of the Champions League Volley - Women 2020, the fourth win in total. They beat LP SALO of Finland in a compelling way (25-16, 25-13, 25-13) in just over an hour. They lead the group comfortably.

SALO had their hopes of gaining a point smashed within the first set. The visiting team lead 3-4 after having come back from 3-0 down. Their last lead was at 8-9, after which the attacking force of Eczacibasi was just too strong. Hanze Baladin scored 13 for the Turkish side, with Tijana Boskovic (MVP) and Natalia Zilio Pereira both getting 14. Katarina Pilepic scored 8 for SALO.

With Budowlani ŁÓDŹ and Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL fighting in the Match of the Week, Eczacibasi are anxiously awaiting the result. The next match for them is the return match against Fenerbahce, in which they might already claim the win in Pool A on February 6th.
