- Rafał Szymura, Outside spiker of Jastrzębski Węgiel: "The most important thing is that after our weak performance in Italy we came back on winning course in PlusLiga last weekend. We had the opportunity for quick rehabilitation. We didn't play very well in Italy. Our volleyball did not look like we and the fans were used to. We know what we need to improve and what we need to play. It certainly won't be an easy match, but we will do everything to advance further."
- Benjamin Toniutti, Setter of Jastrzębski Węgiel: "We knew before the quarterfinal that it won’t be easy task. Piacenza is a good team. They built the team to win the Champions League. We expected this kind of momment. But we will play at home, in front of our fans. I think it will be a big battle and we have to focus on this. We will give everything and I hope we will manage to qualify and go again to the semi final of this competition."

- Andrea Anastasi, head coach of Gas Sales Daiko PIACENZA previously has been working in Poland for 10 years. First, he was the coach of the Polish national team for two years, then he managed the Trefl Gdańsk club for 5 years, and then he was the coach of Projekt Warszawa for 3 years.
- Robbert Andringa, who plays Gas Sales Daiko PIACENZA, also knows PlusLiga. In the years 2017-2023, he was a player of the Polish club Indykpol AZS Olsztyn.
- Robertlandy Simon and Ricardo Lucarelli had the opportunity to perform in the Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. This took place in the 2022 edition of the CEV Champions League, when they both represented Cucine Lube Civitanova.

JASTRZEBSKI Węgiel - Gas Sales Daiko PIACENZA
- This was the first match in the history of both teams in the CEV Champions League in Jastrzębie-Zdrój between these clubs in this competition.
- The hit battle attracted over three thousand spectators to the stands of the Jastrzębie arena.
- The hosts started this match with problems. All of the team's current quarterbacks are currently struggling with health problems. Captain Benjamin Toniutti is struggling with a calf injury, Edvins Skruders with a hip injury, while Jarosław Macionczyk is undergoing rehabilitation after a muscle injury.
- Due to the injury of the second libero of Jastrzębski Węgiel, the team for the match against Gas Sales Daiko PIACENZA included an 18-year-old libero from the Academy of Talents of Jastrzębski Węgiel, Jakub Jurczyk.

- Yuri Romanò: “It hurts to leave the competition like this, certainly having lost the second set had a huge impact on the final outcome of the match, it's a real shame because we would have deserved to win that set. We cared a lot about this event, unfortunately we started the third set badly and the recovery didn't materialize by a whisker. Yes, there is a lot of regret for having come out this way."
