The Men’s national team of Spain continuer with their excellent #EuroVolleyM Qualifiers campaign, as on Saturday, they extended their winning streak in Pool F, outclassing at 3-0 the team of Georgia as guests.

The hosts of the game of Leg 4 struggled since the beginning of the game, while the Spaniards took the leadership position. Led by Victor Rodriguez Pérez (5 pts.) and Jordi Ramón Ferragut (7 pts, 3 aces) in the first set, the Spanish players stormed to a 11-2 point lead. Keeping the difference, they emerged victorious with no problems, counting on a greater efficiency on attack (56% to 26%ñ 13 to only five winning spikes). As many as five aces also turned out to be a key factor in this part. 

The same scenario unfolded in the second set. The players guided by head coach Miguel Rivera opened in their favour (5-0). With the incredible 17 winning spikes, the Spanish completely dominated, while the home side could score only three points from this element.

Only in the third set seemed to have the potential of being a tied one. After a close call in the beginning, and a momentous loss of concentration by the Spaniards (six errors in the set), the Georgian team was close to bringing back the intrigue (8-9). However, Spain weren’t ready to let any surprises - with Rúben Lorente Camacho on the serve, and successful cooperation on block and attack (two blocks by Martín Muñoz de Chavarría), the Spanish team established again their rhythm of play. No looking back (15 winning spikes, three kill blocks), Spain seized the victory.
