The 2019 Golden #EuroLeagueW titleholders from the Czech Republic continue on outperforming their opponents in Pool C as on Wednesday, they seized a straight-sets victory over the team of Hungary who two years ago finished on fifth place in the competition. The players around head coach Ioannis Athanasopoulos needed 81 minutes to grab the victory. Thanks to this success, they top the charts in the current standings in the group, and after four matches played at the tournament, have 12 points. Even though it seems like a rather easy win for the Czech Republic, their opponents from Hungary fought back. The better performance on the block (11 successful actions on this element) became the key to the success in this fixture. Gabriela Orvosova from Czechia became Top scorer of the match, recording 20 points to her name. With her 3 kill blocks, she also became Top Blocker.

- The first was a point-for-a-point race. Only after the 20th point were the Czech girls able to take the lead after coming back as Hungary were leading at 20-17. With Andrea Kossanyiova on the serve, the Czech players felt more secure and were able to deliver some good performances on the attack. 

- Both teams showed equal skills on the attack in the next set, but with 3 blocks and 1 aces, the Czech Republic got closer to the victory.
