Asseco Resovia RZESZÓW - ACH Volley LJUBLJANA
Asseco Resovia RZESZÓW
- Asseco Resovia will play the last home match this year against ACH Volley Ljubljana. Rzeszów fans can't wait.
- Asseco Resovia won the PlusLiga match on Monday and is in 3rd place in the table.
- A new player joined the Polish team - a setter, Łukasz Kozub, who has won gold medals in the European U18 and U20 Championships and the U19 and U21 World Championships, as well as a bronze medal in the Nations League in 2022.
- Giampaolo Medei players really want to win three points to stay in the game for second place in the group.
- This is an interesting match for Asseco Resovia's player, Klemen Cebulj - a few years ago, Klemen also played for the ACH Volley Ljubljana club.
- Karol Kłos: "I don't feel any pressure before the match, but we would definitely like to win... if we want to get out of the group, we have to win everything, because at the start we made everything difficult for ourselves against the French. (...) There are a lot of matches and it is difficult, but we just have to approach the match focused. I would like to win 3-0, like in Ljubljana. Will the result be repeated? I don't know. I think it's no secret that we don't play evenly and smoothly, but we win... in the Polish league, so that can be good. I think that with the support of the fans, which I count on very much, it will be a good show tomorrow."
ACH Volley LJUBLJANA
- Radovan Gačič (coach): "We are aware that another tough challenge awaits us in Poland against a favored opponent who cannot afford another slip-up in front of their home crowd. In the first match in Tivoli Hall, we were fairly evenly matched in all three sets, so I hope we will show our quality in Thursday's match."
- Jani Kovačič (player): "We expect Thursday's match with motivation and a desire to prove ourselves. The atmosphere in the team is excellent, and although the journey has been a bit tiring, now nothing else matters but preparing maximally for Thursday's match and showing our best performance."
